King of Pentacles

The picture

King of Pentacles is 78, a 15/6: the estate at peak, the man (or function) who can rule matter without becoming it. 15/6 is the Devil’s number and the Lovers’ — appetite and care. Rule the estate. Do not become the coin. This is the last card of Javane’s 78. After it, the Fool at 22 has already taught you how to leap again; here you learn how to land. 7 understands the estate, 8 can run it, and they reduce to 6: the wealth must serve a household, not a hunger. The shadow is Midas, status as soul, a house with no one in it. Becoming the vault is how 15/6 forgets the Lovers and keeps only the chain.

Landing is the teaching of the last card. The Fool already knows the cliff. This king knows the floor. Ordinary Tuesday is one material decision that serves the actual house, then dinner that is not a meeting about the books.
