The Magician is not a trick. He is the moment a person notices that the four tools — cup, sword, wand, pentacle — are already on the table, and that the lamp will not light itself. Mercury rules this card: speech, craft, the nervous system, the contract between idea and act. Javane places him at 1, the God-spark, the first move of the triangle.
A life with this current does not wait for a committee. It names, points, and begins. The constructive Magician finishes as often as he starts. The shadow is theatre: a wand in the air and nothing on the bench. Concentration is the sacrament. Scatter is the leak.
