In this house

The Devil is Capricorn’s shadow: structure that became a prison, work that became a master, desire that signed a contract in the dark. Javane’s 15 reduces to 6 — love, duty, the household — under a heavier charge. The chains in this house are loose. That is the point.

Power, sex, money, habit, a job title: any of them can fuel or bind. The constructive Devil knows what it is bound to and keeps a hand on the clasp. The shadow pretends it is free while sitting on the cube, or calls every appetite evil and then obeys it in secret.

As a life theme

A strong appetite nature. Power, sex, money, or habit can chain or fuel you. Consciousness of the chain is the work — 15 as a 6 that went into the cave.

As a passing current

Temptation, contract, or a heavy attraction. Know what you are binding yourself to before you call it love or work.

On the Divine Triangle

Javane numbered the deck 1–78 and laid those numbers on the Divine Triangle: Life Lesson, square centers, Major and Minor ages. When 15 appears as a standing number, read it as a life theme. When it appears as a year or a peak age, read the passing current. It is never a second Life Path.
