In this house

The Empress is Venus as a working goddess: food, art, the body, the household, the field that actually yields. Javane’s 3 is expression — the voice that must see results — and here that voice is made flesh. Nothing on this card is theoretical. Wheat, fruit, water, a child of the earth even if no infant is shown.

A life with this current creates and then has to tend what it created. The gift is abundance with manners. The shadow is indulgence, smothering, or a beauty that will not get its hands in the soil. Pleasure is holy here only when it feeds someone.

As a life theme

You must express and see results. Beauty, fruitfulness, and pleasure are keywords. Specialize rather than scatter. Art, teaching, and the arts of the home are native ground.

As a passing current

A 3 current favors creative output, company, and visibility. Perform, write, cook, plant. Isolation starves this number.
